Treasuring Time

This is the memory mug. i find that the time when i usually reminisce about memories the most is when i'm relaxing with a cup of coffee so i designed a coffee mug that would aid with that process. this mug is made of thermo chromatic material and has writing on it in black and white that would stimulate memories of different events in a persons life.

I think this is a great idea. It captures the essence of that time of peace and rest very well.

The emotional response it gains from the user can be seen not only in the feel of the mug, but the graphics as well. Every part of it seems to speak out.

Aesthetically the colors/shades work well to form an image of peace and reminiscence, a key idea to the project.

Maybe other colors could be used to represent other parts of the user’s life, eg exciting parts could be orange etc

Overall though a cool and clever design

The concept is great a time of peace and of rest. The material idea is good too using thermochromatic plastic...

In my opinion though the form itself needs to be revise it looks too "generic" the mug that is but besides that i really like the idea and the product that eventuated from it...
Definitely marketable...

I could imagine just sitting there and reading the paper in the morning with a cup of coffee; and the words or messages slowly appear from the thermochromatic ink. I think it is a pretty good idea but there is room for improvement like maybe experimenting with different colour or the shape of the mug as it is a really common shape; maybe something a little bit more interesting.

Wow, there are so many possibilities within this idea. This would sell very well retail and also with cafes.

I agree with josh that maybe more colour exploration could have been done, however the result is what appears to be a finished model.
nice pictures

A great idea. There are things out there like this, but mostly with only one of the memories on them or something completely random.

One issue with this is that not everyone has one of those memories so it would be wasted on them.

If you were able to personalise them with ordering if it was produced then that would be great.

Thermo-chromatic products are usually well received and this would be another one.
